That Woman is a Success

A Poem By Barbara Burrow

That woman is a success….who lives life to the fullest; who has discovered and shared the strengths and talents that are uniquely her own; who puts her best into each task and leaves each situation better than she found it; who seeks and finds that which is beautiful in all people and in all things; whose heart is full of love and warm with compassion; who has found joy in living and peace within herself.

I have raised an amazing woman!

1/30/08 This is what my daughter posted on her blog...I guess all moms hope their children understand them a little and it seems like I got my wish!

My mom rocks.
Not really posting for me this time. I did get my artistic gene from my Mom. And YOU ALL need to go see what she does. Mom spent most of her life as a professional studio and wedding photographer. She was incredible at what she did with the camera, though she claimed that it wasn't the film that was her medium, it was working people. She helped people be genuine, and that led to great photographs. But that was her past life. She's retired now. And she went through some artistic phases, including watercolors, which she loved, but didn't have the right feel for them. She's finally arrived at the medium that she was meant for - oils. Please go see her work:( http://lmwright.blogspot.com/) And if you like what you see, please leave her a comment and let her know. And if you know someone else who would appreciate seeing some well-done paintings full of a great woman's soul, please pass the link on! Thanks!
